OUR SERVICES

ENCAP.jpg

FULL ENCAPSULATIONS

Full Encapsulation is a service that seals the entire crawlspace (walls & piers wrapped and waterproof taped) to prevent moisture and humidity from entering crawlspace. The purpose of encapsulating a crawlspace is to protect the structure from moisture, water, and mold, while also improving air quality and energy efficiency.
There are 2 types of Full Encapsulation services we provide:
1. Close Cell Spray Foam Encapsulation, which we remove all crawlspace insulation, eliminating all possible nests and homes for existing pests in crawlspace. Giving your crawlspace a much cleaner appearance, with the removal of floor joist insulation. All perimeter walls & piers wrapped and seam taped. Perimeter walls, then sprayed with closed cell fast acting spray foam 1 1/2 thick, insulating the entire crawlspace with maximum efficiency.
2. Clean space Full Encapsulation, which we wrap and seal all perimeter walls and piers with vapor thickness of choice. All wall, seams, and piers waterproof taped as well. Floor joist insulation highly recommended when having a clean space encapsulation if you don't already have any installed. Due to properly keeping crawlspace insulated.
Encapsulating the crawlspace ensures the structure will remain safe and healthy for years to come.

PARTIAL ENCAPSULATIONS

Partial encapsulation (Starter System)  The purpose of a starter system is to address specific issues or problems in the crawlspace while still allowing for some ventilation and air flow.  Partial encapsulation involves sealing off the ground with a moisture barrier with all seams in vapor barrier taped. Vents and any other wall breach points being sealed as well, capping it off with a dehumidifier and condensation pump installation. This helps to prevent moisture and humidity from entering the crawlspace and causing problems such as mold growth, wood rot, and pest infestations. However, unlike a full encapsulation, a partial encapsulation leaves the crawlspace walls and piers unsealed, usually due to the crawlspaces natural moisture level not being too high.

SUMP PUMP INSTALLS

A sump pump is an essential part of waterproofing crawlspaces. Its purpose is to collect and remove groundwater from the area, preventing flooding and water damage. Location of sump pump is typically in areas where standing water settles, causing soft soil, which is very damaging for the structure of your home. Our sump pump services ensure that your crawlspace remains dry and free from moisture.

 FRENCH DRAIN SYSTEM EXTERIOR/INTERIOR

A French drain system is an ideal solution for waterproofing crawlspaces, as it is designed to collect and redirect water away from the area. This system uses a perforated pipe that is surrounded by gravel and laid below the surface to capture and disperse water, keeping the crawlspace dry and free from moisture.

DEHUMIDIFIER & CONDENSATION PUMP INSTALL

A crawlspace dehumidifier is the perfect solution for keeping your crawlspace dry and free of moisture. With the condensation pump being installed 6" to 10" downward from the dehumidifier, it's duty is to collect any gravity fed condensation built up from the dehu to get pumped out to the destined location. This service will help to reduce humidity levels, prevent mold and mildew growth, and keep your home healthy and comfortable. With our dehumidifier & condensation pump, you can rest assured that your crawlspace will remain dry and comfortable all year round.

CRAWLSPACE CLEAN-OUT

A crawlspace clean out is a process of removing debris, dirt, and other unwanted materials from the area under your home that is accessible by crawling. Crawlspace clean out is typically done to improve indoor air quality, reduce moisture and mold growth, and prevent pest infestations
The process of crawlspace clean out can vary, but it generally involves the following steps:

1. Preparation: The area will be cleared of any obstacles and the entrance to the crawlspace will be secured to prevent entry of unwanted pests.

2. Removal: Debris, dirt, and other materials will be removed from the crawlspace. This process may also include removal of insulation, if necessary.

VAPOR BARRIERS

A vapor barrier is an important part of waterproofing your crawlspace. It eliminates one entry point of moisture from entering crawlspace, sealing off all ground moisture from rising, decreasing humidity levels. We install all vapor barrier thicknesses ranging from 6 mil, 8 mil, 12 mil, 14 mil and 20 mil, with 20 mil being the thickest. Installing vapor barrier only does not include taped seams, wrapped walls, and piers. Entire ground will be sealed and seams will be staked down with a 6 to 10 inch overlap.
